Linkin Park are a bit beyond the scope of this website, at least at the moment. Which makes it even more tragic, that we should be mourning someone from a band revered by my children and their contemporaries.

The bleak subject matter of his songs bear witness to the abuse he suffered as a child, and whose effects, it seems, he was unable to overcome. The band were instant successes: Hybrid Theory, their debut album, released in 2000, has sold over 30 million copies world-wide.
