1960 – The first recording was made that featured all the members of the Fab Four. The song was Gershwin's Summertime, the place was Hamburg. At the time Ringo Starr was in Rory Storm's band The Hurricanes. The Beatles' then-drummer, Pete Best, was not present. It would be nearly another two years before Ringo joined the Beatles, in August, 1962.
